Robin Krumholt
She graduated from Louisiana State University in 1991 with a B.A. in English. She attended the Paralegal Studies Program through Louisiana State University in the accelerated program and received her Paralegal Studies certificate with honors on January 9, 1992. She worked as a paralegal intern and paralegal for Vinet & Vinet until entering law school in 1993. Ms. Krumholt was an associate editor of Southern's Law Review from 1994-1996. She graduated from Southern Law Center Magna Cum Laude in May of 1996. After passing the bar in 1997, she worked as an associate attorney for Vinet & Vinet until July of 2005.
She then worked with Davoli & Krumholt, of counsel with Moore & Hunter, APLC. Currently, she is of counsel with Moore & Hunter. She has been an active member of the Jefferson United Methodist Church for more than twenty-five years. During her membership at JUMC, she has held the office of Chairperson of the Pastor Parish Relations Committee twice.
She is co-chair of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Baton Rouge Bar Association. Ms. Krumholt has conducted numerous Continuing Legal Education seminars on Worker's Compensation topics, such as Ethics and Professionalism as well as Nuts and Bolts seminars to educate new lawyers about handling workers' compensation cases. She was a guest professor at Southern Law Center for the Workers' Compensation class.
Ms. Krumholt helps organize yearly fund raisers for Kids' Chance, a scholarship program for the children of workers that are killed or permanently disabled as a result of on the job injuries. The December 2011/January 2012 edition of the Louisiana Bar Journal documents the presentation of funds raised by the Baton Rouge Workers' Comp Section for Kids' Chance.
Ms. Krumholt has been a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association since 1997, serving on the Bench Bar Conference Committee for several years and participating in fund raisers such as Belly Up with the Bar. Ms. Krumholt is a member of the Volunteer Committee of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, participating in numerous volunteer activities such as Law Day, the Holiday Star project, filling Easter baskets for school children, helping with Brave Heart - Children in Need and Christmas visits to the outpatient clinic of Children's Hospital. Since 2012, she has volunteered as a Reading Friend through VIPS (Volunteers in Public School) at Westdale Heights Academic Magnet School.
In the past, she has been a Member of the Wex Malone Inn of Court for several years and has held a seat on the executive committee, having served as counselor for three years. Since 2012, Ms. Krumholt has been a member of WILG (Workers' Injury Law and Advocacy Group) and the Louisiana Worker's Advocates. These groups are dedicated to the preservation of the injured workers' rights under the current Louisiana Workers' Compensation Statutes. She has taught multiple Continuing Legal Education classes and served as a guest professor at Southern Law Center. She was recently appointed to the Medical Advisory Council to assist in updating the Medical Treatment Guidelines.
